Move Prop Lettings Requirements on letting a property
Please find detailed below a list of requirements for any applicants interested in renting / letting a property from Move Prop
We do charge a holding deposit, this is equivalent to one weeks rent, subject to a successful application this will then be deducted from the first month's rent.
(This is a non refundable) if we find there is a discrepancy with the information provided and/or references cannot be obtained. This is CCJ’s, IVA’s or adverse credit. Also if we cannot obtain positive work or letting references.
In order to rent a property each applicant will need to provide the following:

Please be advised that all applicants must be in full time employment with no adverse credit history.
(CCJ’s, IVA’s, BANKRUPSIES) Self-employed applicants will need to provide 3 years worth of
accounts or information from their accountant
Since 2020 we now use a third party reference company. It’s all very modern and is Smart-App based on mobile phones and PC/Laptops. On average the references can be completed within 5 working days –
Agent Notes - Permitted Charges:
Late rent charge (after 14 days late): £25.00+VAT
Payment of £50.00 +VAT - if you want to make any alternations to the tenancy agreement
Payment of £75.00 +VAT - for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys or call out key entry is required to the property. (free between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday)
Early release fee: £395.00 +VAT This fee is to cover any administration costs and advertising to secure a suitable alternative tenant. You will still be liable for the rent until the day the new tenant moves in to the property. Please be advised that you may only be released from your tenancy prior to your fixed term ending if this is agreed by your landlord. They have the right to decline this request if they see necessary.
Move Prop Lettings no longer repair or replace appliances other than; boilers, ovens, hobs, hoods and integrated/built in appliances. Any freestanding appliances that become faulty will be cleared by the landlord leaving space for the tenant to supply their own.
